For Churches
Marriage Coaching
Marriage is one of the most common reasons people seek out pastoral counseling. Yet, your pastoral staff does not always have the time to help every couple in need. We are here to help. Bryon and Jennifer are certified Marriage Mediators through the XO Marriage Mediator Institute. Bryon has 20 years of ministry experience and served for six years as a First Sergeant in the United States Air Force and Michigan Air National Guard during which time he helped airmen through various marital struggles. Jennifer has over 18 years experience as a lawyer where she has seen many of the common struggles that lead to divorce and helped many couples reconcile and heal their marriages rather than complete the divorce process.
We offer:

The Operation: Thriving Marriage Experience
Seminars, Conferences, and Retreats
Healthy marriages lead to healthy families. Healthy families lead to healthy communities.
We want to help you build healthy marriages in your congregation. Addressing marital struggles is one of the most common felt needs in any congregation. With divorce rates hovering around 50% in American churches, couples clearly need help navigating their relationships.
Bryon and Jennifer have developed unique perspectives from counseling individuals and couples in the church, the law, and the military. Marriage isn’t a lawsuit. Marriage isn’t a battle. The couples in your congregation don’t need to settle for merely surviving in marriage. We can help couples stop problems before they start, resolve issues together, and position them to grow into the couple that God designed them to be. With God’s plan and help, together all couples can make their marriage thrive!
Whether you’re looking for an afternoon seminar, a day or two long conference, or a multiple day retreat we can customize the Operation: Thriving Marriage Experience to your specific needs.
Clergy Marriages
Marriage Coaching – for Clergy
Leading in a church puts unique strains on a marriage. The time and emotional strain of guiding a congregation to Jesus weighs heavy on those called to vocational ministry and their spouses. Whether you are clergy or a clergy spouse, the congregation looks to you to know how they should handle their marriages. They look to you both as a couple for an example of how to be a couple in Christ. Yet, it’s not always easy to live that example. We are all like Paul sometimes, “For I don’t understand what I am doing. For I do not do what I want – instead, I do what I hate” (Rom 7:15 NET). After twenty years in vocational ministry going through dating, engagement, getting married, and children, we understand where you are. We look forward to listening to hearing your story and helping you get back on track so you can lead the congregation with which God has entrusted you.
